What power generates innovations?

Innovation means an implemented new thought. It is possible to achieve by beginning from a new action, product or service that is at least partly unknown. The power has effect when the different knowledges are brought together and desired new attributes of the intention are made valid by expanding knowledge. For example experiments serve this purpose. Then the new information encourages to the creation of new features that deviate from the existing. The power of generating innovations stimulates thinking. Intentions and knowledge alternate as emphasis.

This research uncovered the same phases of reasoning from the background of four empirical cases. In the first case the representatives of different service sectors in the municipality defined the new alignment of risk management. In the second municipal organisations produced a new networking event for the units serving families. In the third reasoning the representatives of firms and local administration created the new application of digital recruiting. In the fourth actors of the third sector representing the domain of social and health organisations found family camps as a new way of cooperation.

The support of managers is needed to activate the power. Because the new may be in dissonance with the old, the execution of changes requires management. People support the new because they have participated to create it.

When a reader applies the set of illustrative diagrams presented in this research in his own situation he/she can capture the benefits arising from the power. Then performances renew, new collaborative networks open and possibilities for better effects are enhanced.
