TAPRI is pleased to announce a guest lecture by Professor Georgiy Kasianov. He is Head of the Department of Contemporary History and Politics at the Institute of Ukrainian History, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Kiev). His current research interests include instrumentalisation of the past for political purposes and memory wars in Ukraine, Russia and Poland.

The lecture is especially recommended to first-year peace students who will be taking part in the course Complexity of Regional Conflicts and Challenges to Peace Processes in the Former/Post Soviet Area, lectured by Vadim Romashov.
