Travel Grant Application is available on the Forms website.

These scholarships are intended for students registered on Bachelor's or Master's degree programmes at the University of Tampere. The scholarships can be applied for in order to undertake unpaid practical training. Applications can be submitted throughout the academic year.

The training involved must form a part of the student's degree programme in order for the student to be eligible for the scholarship. The minimum duration of the placement period is three months. If the period is less than three months, the student is not eligible for the grant. The amount of the grant is dependent on the country of destination.

After the placement period, the beneficiary must compile a travel report for the International Office that describes and evaluates the training abroad.

Scholarships to support practical periods for language students

Language students in the Faculty of Communication Sciences may apply for travel grants to support their compulsory periods of residence in a country whose language they are studying. The application period is usually February.
